ALIZZ ISLAMIC BANK WINS BEST RATED MOBILE BANKING APP IN OMAN

Alizz Islamic Bank’s mobile banking application won the prestigious ‘Best Rated Mobile Banking App’ at the recently concluded Oman Banking & Finance Awards. This award comes as an acknowledgement of the Bank’s growing excellence in enhancing the customer experience via timely and convenient technological enhancements.

Organized by Oman Economic Review, and held under the patronage of H.E. Tahir Salim Abdullah Al Amri - Executive President of Central Bank of Oman, at the Al Bustan Palace - a Ritz Carlton Hotel, the impressive annual award ceremony has set a new tempo for the banking sector to emulate and follow. The proceedings were witnessed by CEOs of major financial and banking institutions in the country and professionals from the industry, alongside digital teams of various banks.

For Alizz Islamic Bank, the recognition of ‘Best Rated Mobile Banking App’ stems from the growing popularity of its mobile app. The award committee tabulated the number of ratings by users of all mobile banking applications in Oman. The app is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play store and Huawei Gallery store, and evaluated on the basis of user experience and the ease of completing banking transactions. The algorithm of the mobile app ensured its efficacy and established it as an easy, simple and convenient tool for its growing users.

Commenting on winning the award, Asaad bin Hilal Al Kharusi, Head of Strategy and Transformation of Alizz Islamic Bank, said, “The shift from traditional avenues of banking to smart mobile devices has enhanced the customer experience.
