Alizz Islamic Bank launches ‘A Book For Every Child’ book donation campaign
Muscat – Sultanate of Oman: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative 'Alizz Cares', Alizz Islamic Bank recently launched a book donation campaign titled 'A Book For Every Child', which is designed to promote reading and encourage children to read more.
Donation boxes, to collect new and used books, have been placed in various locations such as Oman Avenues Mall, The Sultan's School, Seeb International School, The Sri Lankan School Muscat, Tabaruk Private School and The Walk at Al Mouj Muscat.
Moosa Al Jadidi, COO of Alizz Islamic Bank said, "Through this campaign we aspire to empower children through a culture of reading. By collecting books, we will be sourcing more reading material for children. Once the books are collected, Alizz Islamic Bank will redistribute these books to children who can enjoy them. We accept both new and used book however weencourage donations of children's books that are in good condition as this will inspire children to read more. Your donations will help us get the books into the hands of the children who need them."
Al Jadidi added, "This is an important Alizz Islamic Bank CSR Initiative andthe bank is dedicated to reinforcing programmes that raise public awareness and play a significant role in the society. By encouraging the habit of reading the Bank is setting an example for others to follow and enlighten the leaders of tomorrow."
