Location: Internal Audit Division / Head Office

Required Qualification & Experience:

A candidate should be a Bachelor's degree in IT-related field with at least 2 – 4 years audit related experience. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification would be an added advantage.

Experience in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.  

General Requirements / Skills & Competencies:

  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT business processes and operational controls to aid the delivery of the audit plan.
  • Plan and execute individual assignments and audit work through the analysis and identification of business objectives and risks in accordance with the agreed audit scope.
  • Undertake in depth testing of business controls to identify and assess risk to the achievement of the business objectives, substantiating findings and making recommendations to optimize controls, influencing change as appropriate.
  • Produce quality Audit files, reports and management information compliant with the department s timescales and standards
  • Review the fraud alerts generated from bank transactions and investigate anomalies identified.
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer Centric with a strong results and 'can do' attitude.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent listening skills.

Location: Product Development Department - Head Office

Required Qualification & Experience:

A candidate should be a Bachelors’ Degree holder in Commerce, Business Administration or related qualification with at least 3 years Islamic Banking Experience in the related field.

Experience in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.  

General Requirements / Skills & Competencies:

  • Oman National Required
  • Assisting the Head of Product Development in planning, designing, testing, developing and everything to promote the designated new and existing products & services to ensure that the Bank achieves its financial and non-financial objectives.
  • Managing the Business Support aspect of the department & other business units.
  • Regularly review requirements of business units in terms of operational support, in terms of alignment with business strategy and discuss in detail with Product Managers for resolutions.
  • Monitoring of customer requirements, market conditions and identify gaps in existing customer propositions, defining and develop opportunities.
  • Managing the development of Marketing Collateral, Product Advertising, Product Forms & Advises, Processes, Product Accounting Entries, Legal aspect of documentation, Product MIS, Reporting and Tracking
  • Responsible for the planning, development and delivery of new products and product releases to the market meeting the overall goals of the Bank; this extends to both internal & external communication plans.
  • Sharia Compliance Product Development & Management
  • Interact with other departments and channels of business distribution to ensure availability of all necessary materials and content of product releases, training and ongoing sales.
  • Self-started planning, organizing and ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks assigned.
  • Problem solving and stress tolerance skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good knowledge of MS office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).

Location: Credit Administration (Operations Division) / Head Office

Required Qualification & Experience:

A candidate should be a Bachelor's Degree holder in Accounting / Finance field with at least 7 years of credit control and documentation experience in Corporate Finance Facilities related field. Experience in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.

General Requirements / Skills & Competencies:

  • Oman National Required with age between 35 – 45 years.
  • Provide the following services for corporate credit portfolio, enabling comprehensive and efficient risk management related to Documentations, Perfection of Securities, Credit Limit Feeding, Credit Utilization, Credit Monitoring, Credit Exception Reporting, Resource Management and Co-ordination, Problem Solving and Guidance & Quality Control.
  • Manage a Documentation Unit within Credit Administration Department, providing credit documentation support mainly to Corporate Banking in Wholesale.
  • Prepare, negotiate, review, approve and supervise the execution of credit facility and security documentation in relation to corporate customers and to check conditions precedent have been met prior to implementation or availability of the credit facilities.
  • Work closely with relationship managers, internal and external legal counsel in finalizing the facility letters/agreements and security documents.
  • Ensure documentation is executed in compliance with regulatory requirement and internal policies.
  • Manage timely and effective processing of credit documentation to meet customer’s requirements without compromising controls.
  • Must possess strong Customer Focus and Good Knowledge of Corporate Products.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks assigned.
  • Must be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic.
