Location: Risk Management Division / Head Office  

Required Qualification & Experience:

A candidate should be a Bachelor's Degree in Banking / Finance field with two or more years of banking experience, especially in exposure to Retail Credit Review.

Experience in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.  

General Requirements / Skills & Competencies:

  • Reviewing the retail financing facility applications submitted by business units.
  • Reviewing risk rating of the accounts as per the Bank's policies & recommend appropriate revision based on review.
  • Ensuring the financing facilities recommended are in line with the laid down policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all policy deviations and exceptions have been proposed in line with the banks policies.
  • Ensuring the exceptions raised are approved by the appropriate authority.
  • Ensuring compliance with Retail Financing Product Program parameters.
  • Ensuring the disbursement of retail financing applications as per the Authority Matrix.
  • Assisting in the financing sampling process for financing unit reviews and in other departmental functions as necessary.
  • Performing monthly Review of facility sanctioned at business level to ensure that the credit review process is established.
  • Preparation of review reports for Management Risk Committee.
  • Preparation of monthly MIS on the portfolio.
  • Ongoing review of portfolio – concentration, economic sector, maturity, overdues.
  • Attending to queries from branches on the interpretation of the Bank's Retail Financing Product Programs.
  • Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks assigned.
  • Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic.
  • Performing any other assignments allotted by Line Manager/Head of Risk.
